Melody, do you keep any of the things you’ve painted for yourself? Do you ever love a piece TOO MUCH to let it go to ebay?
Which pieces do you have in YOUR personal collection? I remember seeing a picture of the family of Peacock dragons around the Christmas tree. Do you have photos of any of the Windstones in your collection? Do you ever paint something especially for yourself? As in, “Hmm. I want a male dragon in THIS color….”November 8, 2011 at 10:44 pm #861966I’d love to see a photo of your collection! Also your non-windstones. If you have any other cool art pieces or collectables 🙂
November 8, 2011 at 10:57 pm #861970Oh yes,I do keep a few just because they were too pretty to part with. I have to defend them. Pam keeps wanting to put them on ebay.
I sometimes snag one of the Grab bag ones that I just love, or squirrel away a piece that had a defect of some kind.I have one poad(tm) on my computer desk here that I painted for myself. In fact I have about thirty poads that belong to my personal clutter. Most are defective in some way ( one is broken in half)
I have a few special Windstones ones that have been painted by other people, Jennifer, Helen and the various PYO swaps . I keep those safely in a glass case.
Lets see… and I decided to keep “Pierce”, the griffin. He was a leftover raffle prize option a while ago.I am not entirely sure which other Winstone pieces are really “mine”, in the normal sense, since all the paint samples, odd pieces and whatnot kinda merge together into one huge collection up here in my “office”.
There’s also beat-up returned pieces sitting all around on window ledges in the offices. Don’t touch Susie’s window ledge collection, you get in trouble.
November 8, 2011 at 11:00 pm #861971I like all the Poadsâ„¢ on the stair case!

Just upload the pictures to photobucket, then, in the comment box on the forums (where you reply to everyone messages) just type [img src=thedirectlinktothephotobucketpicture] and just replace the [] with .
And there you go 🙂

We had some issue with Photo bucket for legal reasons -I forget what that was about… but yeah I use facebook. I have a photo album on there called “My collections” or something like that. I’ll see if I can get a photo to post on here from there…

November 9, 2011 at 6:02 pm #862031Have you tried Flickr? I find that much easier to use than Photobucket anyway. I read through their terms of service and it doesn’t SEEM like it should infringe on your copyright/trademarking, but you might want to check with John if you haven’t looked into it before. 🙂
