Melody, I know know you’re EXTREMELY busy, but this idea keeps poppin’ in my head, so I figure I just need to get it out there. What do you think about doing a commission piece for each member of the forum that wants one? Either having a select set to choose from or letting them choose and they can request a paint scheme or let you come up with it. It would be a one time only thing, and you could have a pre-set price depending on the piece. I know it’s asking a lot, but since the idea just won’t go away, I just had to throw it out there. I don’t really expect anything to come of it, but I have to act on it or it won’t go away. This way each member who wants one and is willing to pay and can’t afford those Ebay pieces can have a OOAK Pena’ that will never be done again for anybody and it would be the only one they get (they don’t get to enter again). Of course there would be some pieces that you wouldn’t do like the eggs unless you have some lying around and are willing to use them, but you get the idea. Whaddaya think? I know it’s a lot of work, but you could start with the person who’s been a member the longest and work your way up or something like that. I don’t know. Just tossing it out there. 😕

I am experienced enough with art to know that doing custom pieces is BIG BIG trouble. I will happily take suggestions, and try painting something in a way people want them, but I’ll never do something for a person ( for money), custom. This is because of the brilliance of your imagination.I know that there is no way I could ever match the beauty of an imagined color scheme in someone else’s imagination! I know it is hopeless! I can’t even come close to my own!
