well I wanted to show off the other day by showing y’alls a Seraph on the community thread, only to discover that I needed more practice so off we go, the last picture on my lap, before getting my Bamboo board 😈 sooo exited, but here goes, please tell me (in a constructive way) how I may improve
Seraph: an angel of the highest order (fact)
Cherub: an angel a rank below Seraph (fact)
Cheraph: an angelic creature created when a Seraph’s and a Cherub’s mind reach a 100% syncronisation (my fiction) usually need a dragon or a purpose, to maintain existenceApril 7, 2009 at 12:15 am #497947April 7, 2009 at 5:42 am #759324Neat illustration! Are we going to see the matching story in writing some time?
April 7, 2009 at 8:05 am #759325thanks
well, maybe they will appear in my comic, which I am starting on. only got like 8 pages so far, this one was done to practice the colouring, but I still haven’t decided if it will be manga style (black and white), but I find that more likely than the other
April 7, 2009 at 12:59 pm #759326Why? Color’s pretty…
(Not that I should be talking; I like b/w illustrations too because they’re succinct and easy to finish in a day.)April 7, 2009 at 2:18 pm #759327I know 🙂 but if you go to a library or a comic book store and compare manga with comics, I find the mangas easier to look at (might be A.D.D talking) sometimes color is just chaos, but I like the colors in the darker comics like batman, and even though I like X men I think it is chaotic in colors
plus this picture, as much as I love it, took too long, maybe it’ll get better with practise
April 8, 2009 at 5:29 am #759328That’s a point. Depending on color placement and tone b/w can be easier to read.
April 8, 2009 at 8:06 am #759329sweet relief, I just might send you the start, of the comic when I finish the colouring (shading, I might do it in colour too just to see)
8) got my new BAMBOO board, tried to color a part of the picture again, and what took me nine hours, took one,
