So following the pet peeves thread. What is something you do or something that makes you weird?
I am a food aphobic. I can’t eat anything I cook because it grosses me out. I’m a great cook too, but I think about what is in the food and can’t eat. Luckily my husband keeps me fat!
I can’t drink water at out of glasses. I have to use a water bottle.
I can’t drink from a cup or glass directly. I have to use a straw.
I love to watch The Saddle Club 😳 😆
I talk too much. 😳 At least when it comes to the biological sciences. It’s a field that absolutely fascinates me, and I start drooling off at the mouth whenever the opportunity arises. I forget that not everyone finds bio sci that interesting! 😕
My mom won’t let me carve the Thanksgiving turkey any more . . . after the time I turned it into a Avian Anatomy lecture. 🙄 (In front of the whole family, including grannies. What was I thinking?!)
I can’t go without a watch, I feel quite naked without one.
I talk to people in other cars even though they can’t hear me (it usually involves swearing, but, you know…)
I carry on conversations with my cats and sometimes my truck.
Hmmm I have fairly odd fashion sense, I seem to have a really hard time making art that isn’t “twee” or obscenely cute LOL Weird natural quirk I guess! I have an intense dislike of watching movies or television shows without seeing them the whole way through, unless it’s a movie or show I’ve seen before.
I’ve been told my sense of humour is a bit strange, and online what I mean to come across as deadpan can seem sarcastic instead, leading to occasional dust-ups LOL
Coming into a movie/TV show that’s 1/4 over or more!!! Must find something else….. Unless it’s one of those ones with bit’s and pieces like Incredible Medical Mysteries, or AFV, or Animal Planets FV… Umm get the idea?
I bite my nails when I’m stressed. 🙄

This one is really weird….for some reason when I’m sitting at the computer at home, I have to pin my hair up. I use a computer all day at work, and I’m fine, but at home, I can’t stand having my hair down when I’m sitting here….I know…I need help!!! 😆
I sleep only about 3-4 hours a night usually.
I very rarely leave my house, I prefer to be at home.
Most of my friends are online, here.
Sometimes I wander off in mid sentence to go do something else, usually involving art…
I like Disney soundtrack music…Tarzan and Lion King are my faves.
Every once in a while I just chop my hair off randomly with scissors…not sure why, bored I suppose…wearing said “do” now…this happened last thursday.
I love westerns. especially the black and white ones.
I also love the older batman animated series…I have every season. Plus almost all the seasons of MASH, and Stargate SG-1.
Oh, my neighbors think I’m weird because on occasion my husband and I take our practice swords out to the front yard and fight, cars slow down and stare too…
I say what I think, regardless of whether it will be taken well or not, people in general don’t like this..I can be found talking to my cats most days. Sometimes I think Old Butt understands me. 😯 If he doesn’t in 15 yrs, he never is gonna. 🙄
I also talk to other drivers in the roads. 😆 Sometimes I have been known to make sure they hear me. 😈
I have a very strange sense of humor. Sometiems its dry and sometimes it’s disgusting. 😛 Usually whenever I am complaining infront of someone, they are laughing. 😯 It weirds me out, but their laughter usually helps me to calm down and go on with the day. 🙄
I have a fetish for houseplants. I live in a small place right now, so I don’t have many, but they are big. (2 big Draceana 7 ft or so, and a 4 ft candelabra cactus. Various others.) I ALWAYS go out in mid February and buy atleast a half dozen of them too. Cabin fever I guess. 😯
I talk to the animals. 😆 I have dogs that come up to me wagging and whinning. Sometimes they bring me balls and toys too. I had my mom in hystarics one day. My aunt and uncle left the dogs with my mom while they were on vacation. I came over and they wouldn’t let me out of the doorway. Not being nasty, just had alot to tell me about, they whinned to me for about 15 minutes then they let me in. 😆
But, I do talk to my cats all the time, they’re the only ones to talk to at home.
I can’t stand wearing any jewellrey at all. I also can’t stand belts.
I bribe the Tellermate ™ with coffee at work. I swear at the PDTs.
I used to sing when I groomed. Or keep up conversations with the dogs. (I especially liked talking to schnauzers, and malamutes. Since they actually talk back.)
