I got great news this morning. After management himming and hawing for 5 years they have finally hired an office assistant!

I’m not looking forward to training… But, if she works out and stays then I can have a vacation! That and Weekends off!!!! I haven’t had one of those in ages that I haven’t had to beg for. I’m sooooo excited. I almost tackled the Service Manager when she told me. Now I have to remember to have the HR schedual her for Sunday morning 9:30. I’ll be there earlier but, that’s alright. I’m sure I can find something to do.

That’s great. Maybe they’ll hire someone to replace her if she leaves in the spring. As long as the position has been created, it sounds like you’ll get some time off and get to relax once in a while. Good news!

Yay! Even if she moves on in the spring, maybe you’ll find a replacement right away, and so it’ll be much more long term! Regardless, you get to enjoy it now 🙂

If they hired one then they’ll hopefully hire another. (I wonder if the whole co-worker sick, death in the family, and me almost quiting had anything to do with it…. 🙄 ) It’s funny how fast they can find someone. 😆
