She had a few auctions with outrageous shipping, but the price was right on the auctions beause of it. Has anyone actually got their dragons yet?? I know she had a Lap for sale and I thought a male and female too, but I’m not sure.

Well, unless it’s going out of the country, you could ship it for half that, double boxed an everything. It may not be totally outrageous shipping, but they’re certainly asking more than it would actually cost to ship!

-J R R TolkienWell considering it’s from Conneticuit to Massachusetts it’s pretty steep, but when you think about it, 70 bucks wasn’t bad for a total on it. I just hope it’s in one piee or even arriving at all. The shipping on her Lap Dragon was 39.99. Hence why I think it went for like 70 or 80 bucks. Something like that.

I do actually, since it was damaged I wanted to try out my airbrush and see what I can come up with. I’m not selling, just experimenting since I love Spectrals oh so much <3 <3 <3 and the price was great. I was thinking either a golden yellow with hints of orange and red and royal purple accenting down the wings and belly, but I was also thinking maybe black with hunter green and magenta instead. I can't decide. Maybe if it would EVER GET HERE I could picture it better in my head *grumble*

Have you tried contacting the seller to see what is up and if they have shipped it? If you have and they haven’t responded you can alwasy file an item not received claim with eBay and maybe the seller will tell you what’s up.
Yea, I got a response back today saying it was just shipped out yesterday 👿 No biggie, but I hate getting stressed for nothing. Now I’m just hoping she’s telling the truth. ACK! Now I’m going to start stressing again, LOL!
Oh yea, I actually asked her why the shipping was so high before I bid and she blatently told me if was inflated because she didn’t think she’s get he amount she wanted for it……at least she was honest, but still. If I see the shipping cost half or less of what I paid she’s gettng at least a neutral.

That is probably one of the better reasons for inflated shipping. More usually it’s simply to deter returns for refunds (‘refund does not include shipping fees’). Another sort-of-legitimate reason for inflated shipping costs is if the person is using a pack&mail establishment to do the packing and shipping. However, $30 is probably way too cheap for that.
