My friend is in a band and they need a logo done. Anyone up the challenge? Their mascot is a female hyena. She wants her face to have a snide face. And she also wants her to be wearing a jester hat and a spike collar. She would also like to know how much you would charge. I can pass along her info your if you are interested.
Where is the band located? Fairly smalltime? What are they going to use the logo for? What’s their budget?

The band is located in Utah. They have changed their name a couple of times over the years and know a lot of the local bands here. They haven’t performed out of Utah, so they are basically a local band. I am not sure what they are going to use it for (probably to put on cds and T-shirts) or what she is looking to spend on it. I will ask her and get back to you.*shrug* Can do digital for $25 on printable resolution, premium quality. I’ve done logos before, but I don’t have a vector program.

I just saw this now…I’m in the middle of a logo/mascot commission right now, but if they’re still looking I’m perfectly capable of colour vector graphics. There’s a big difference for me between a “professional” client that will use the mascot as a recognizable emblem that will eventually make them money or just a smaller joint to me, and that does make me charge more. D:
