Or can you get this for around $60 – $65 on most Windstone websites?

LOL! He retails for $63, and is still current.

Ya, but you don’t see him a lot so they may not know that.

LOL! That’s eBay for you! 😉 Stuff goes for way less than it should, but the flipside is when it goes for way more than it should (like this one!). 😉

There was a white grand unicorn back in October-November (I think) that sold for over $200. The seller had it listed as retired, and I guess the buyer didn’t do their homework.

I love watching weird auctions like that, it always makes me wonder what people are thinking.

There’s a leafcat sconce on there too, that I think retails for $62 that I wanted (and am now kicking myself for not BIN at $50) that is now, oh, $66 last time I checked, with a day or so left on it.

Saw a spirit wolf somebody paid well over $35 for a little while back. People are incredibly retarded, not researching before bidding, or just way too lazy to look anywhere besides ebay.

I think a lot of people have the mentality of ‘I can get it cheapest on eBay’ which, if course, is not always true (and many sellers count on this!)

I suppose that’s true, some people *do* think that way. Although I rarely buy from ebay unless it’s a good deal or something I can’t find anywhere else (cuz 90% of the time Amazon.com has it, it’s cheaper, and they protect you!).

More power to the sellers though, for being able to exploit people’s inability to research a purchase.

Um… i would not call it exploiting. They didnt set a reserve. Every time a seller lists an auction, its a gamble. What goes for $81 today may go for $10 tomorrow.

Well, perhaps not intentionally exploiting (though some of them will, and do), but definately coming out on the winning end, if two people get into a bidding war and don’t have enough sense to bow out before it gets obscene.

Seller wins, either way, if it goes for way more than it’s really worth.
