January 15, 2007 at 4:14 am #528388I sent the seller an email but I’m a little leary of buying from someone with zero feedback. Hopefully they respond to me 🙂
January 15, 2007 at 4:33 am #528389$100 is a good deal, especially now that they’re retired.
January 15, 2007 at 4:33 am #528390Blah, they don’t take paypal and they can’t give me a shipping quote unless I give them my full address. They also want payment by western union so I don’t think I will bid on this guy 🙁
January 15, 2007 at 4:37 am #528391What a pity. He does look in good shape, like drag0n said.
January 15, 2007 at 4:41 am #528392They’re going to have to learn to be more flexible, I’ll be curious to see if this one sells… Besides, you’re better off not bidding on this one if you want my opinion, they’re ripping you off on insurance since I can tell you right now that with Canada Post, the first $100.00 of insurance is included in the shipping fee, and for every $100.00 more of insurance, the fee is only $1.20 CAN. And this seller is charging $10.00 just for insurance!

That’s absolutely untrue (not your comment, but this seller’s claim). All you need for a shipping quote from Canada to the US, besides package weight and size, is the sender’s postal code and the buyer’s zip code!
January 15, 2007 at 4:45 am #528394I’m watching him. I wonder whether he’ll be found and sold.
January 15, 2007 at 6:14 am #528395Eh, he probably won’t be, if the seller doesn’t accept paypal, has no feedback and wants the buyer’s full address for shipping cost, and is asking $10 to insure.
*I* wouldn’t bid, even if it was a deal.
January 15, 2007 at 6:24 am #528396Yeah, but who knows. Some dork paid $200 or so for a rainbow female the week after rainbow got retired.
January 15, 2007 at 6:36 am #528397Okay, lemme amend that:
As an experienced ebayer, I would not bid on an auction where the seller has no feedback, does not accept paypal, overcharges for shipping and requests a Western union payment when questioned.
Howzat?
January 15, 2007 at 6:46 am #528398😆 Zat’s fine. I agree.
January 15, 2007 at 7:31 am #528399If the seller accepted personal checks, it might be worth it. (if the deal turns bad, you can cancel a check for a small fee) Usually I look for deals like this, because more than 60% of the time, if the seller doesn’t accept paypal, the item won’t fetch a good price at all. I don’t blame him though, I don’t want paypal getting their chunk of my successful sale! Its a GORGEOUS scratcher; he would match my OW 😀 But I recently found a hidden auction for a mis-labled scratcher and snagged him for $75 with shipping 😀
