Yesterday was the first day of NJ’s annual Bamboozle festival! The Bamboozle is basically a huge 2 day concert with over 100 different bands and 9 stages! a bunch of bands play at the same time on different stages. I’ve gone 2 years in a row, this year was WILD, I got to meet 2 of my favorite bands, and I got crowd surfed 5 and a half times (I say 5 and a half because the crowd dropped me once!) has anyone else in NJ heard of or been to the Bamboozle festival?

wiL Francis of Aiden being crowd surfed!!! (he got crowd surfed about 5 times in the 30 mins they were performing, and at one point one of my friends lifted me onto the crowd at the same time as wiL was on the crowd, tht was a cool experience!)

Well, maybe not getting dropped, but all the rest! 🙂 I’ve never heard of any of the bands except for Jimmy Eat World, but then, I’m not really in touch with any new music. I’m glad you got to hear and get the signature of one of your favorite bands 😀

Yup! i really had a great time! when they dropped me, luckily some guy made sure I got dropped on my feet, some other people did not get as lucky, my friend Nathaniel got hit in the face and got his nose broken! I also got a signature from the Bassist of another band that I LOVE (Madina Lake). after the concert was over me and my friends were waiting for our ride home on a street, there was nobody around except a crossing guard. A tour bus comes through and the door of the trailer the bus was hauling flies opens, and who gets out to close it, one of my favorite bands!!! The bassist was nice enough to give me a hug and a signature!!!!! 😀
here’s the festival website: http://www.thebamboozle.com/home.phpSounds like a good time all around! Congrats on being in the mosh pit. Those things scare me. I wonder where some people are tempted to place their hands…*brrr*. I only know Jimmy Eat World too. This kind of sounds like Lalapalooza.
