Near Death Experiences & Home Owner Advice

Okay so I ranted about some issues with my insurance company and my mortgage company in my Flea Market thread.

I’ve been trying to not mention personal crap going on in my life here anymore because of personal reasons, but please, disregaurd the CRAZY SITUATION AND INSANE ANGER I am feeling because I really just need advice from someone who has had to go through a situation like this…

How the HELL do you get the money from your homeowners insurance company when your mortgage company says “Hey it’s our house and our money and we’ll use it how we please”

Is this business as usual with this kind of situation or do I need to call the better business bureau or the attorney general or something???

Oh yea!!! I almost died lastnight too! Almost killed some other folks too by being stupid! 🙄

A big SUV flipped over and landed about 35ish feet away from where I was. It was nuts!

I was working at the resturant and it was a sweet 16 party FROM HELL! TONS OF EXTRA people showed up! I couldn’t even get through the room with the food. There were supposed to be 160 people and they used over 250 plated so they were over by at least 90 people and a lot of them just drank and didn’t get to eat because we, predictably, ran out of food! I couldn’t manuver in the room with 35 lb HUGE and HEAVY BOILING HOT trays of lasanya and rice! Little kids and teenager were EVERYWHERE and EVERYONE was SO INGNORANT! Rudest people I ever had to serve. Bah!

You get the idea, it was a BAD night, and a bunch of kids snuck in alcohol! I found 3 empty hennesy bottles stuffed under tables. I showed the owner, since stuff like that is SUPPOSED to automatically END the party! It is against their contract and Avon law for anyone, especially minors to bring in their own alcohol to an establishment like that. He just rolled his eyes & said “kids will be kids, as long as we don’t serve them we can’t do anything about it.”There was a cop detail too and he didn’t even care! *whatever* That place needs their liquor license taken away again! I was mad about that plus, the other girl that was supposed to help me got stuck on the bar all night so I had to serve and clear EVERYTHING all alone!

ANYWAY, I was FINALLY done and getting into my truck when I kicked a PILE of beer and hennesy bottles that were all stacked in a little row along the side of my truck. There were kids in the car parked next to me all buzzed apparently. I was so mad after the night I had I kicked the bottles away from my truck so I wouldn’t run them over. They started saying “Hey, she works here! Let’s go!” I wanted to turn them in, but I knew the owners would get in a bunch of trouble! So like an IDIOT I just shook my head and got into my truck. As I turned to look behind me to back up, I saw the car with the kids turn out of the parking lot and cut in front of this big SUV. They got by because the SUV swerved to try and miss them and another car whacked him instead! He flipped over into the parking lot and came like 30-35 feet from landing on top of my truck! I ran outside and he was upside down, with the top of the SUV on the ground. The other car pulled over and the people also rushed out of there too. Everyone was okay thank god! The back window smashed of the SUV so I helped him out through there and then I ran into the resturant to tell the cop and the owners a car just flipped into the middle of their lot.

I really can’t stand working at a place that’s so poorly run and the two guys that own it are kids themselves practically. They don’t even care about the minors causing hell apparently as long as they don’t get into trouble by serving them. It’s all money money money. I felt partly responcible since I knew that they were drinking, but looking back there’s not really anything I could think of doing any different without putting my job in jeopardy.

I guess in the grand scheme… a lot of people had a bad night.

Yea, I read it after I posted this thread. That’s what most people have been telling me. I just didn’t think many people would check out the Flea Market Thread so I asked here also.
