Sorry this has taken so long!
For Quest 19, we’re looking to have all of you folks in the field photograph and send in information about previously unidentified fuzzy species!
In order to enter, you need to take a photo of a fuzzy you bred or captured (or just spotted in the wild) with name of the fuzzy breed (you can make it up since it’s new!), any facts you observed about its behavior (eating habits, sleeping habits, reproduction habits as long as it’s PG, etc), and any other relevant information. You may not exceed 250 words, but you must have at least a breed name and a few facts/observations noted as well as a photo in your entry to qualify.
Entries will be accepted from 8/3 at 3 pm Pacific through 8/31 at 11:59 pm Pacific and should be sent to Ayonah @ Windstoneeditions . com with the subject line “Quest 19 Entry”. Photos need to be less than 5 MB in size.
Entries must contain your forum name (this will not count against your word count).
You cannot enter a photograph of a fuzzy that you received in a Windstone shipment or were sent by another forum member.
You must take your own photograph/make up your own breed name/write your own facts – you cannot submit for someone else.
Entries need to comply with forum rules, cannot feature copyrighted information, and must not violate any laws.
Entering the contest gives Windstone Editions permission to post your entry to the official Windstone site as well as any social media sites Windstone maintains.
Entries are limited to one per household/IP address/physical address/email address.
You must have reached the age of majority in your home country OR have written permission from a parent or guardian to enter. You must be a forum member in order to enter.
Two winners will be selected –
Winner 1 – From 9/7 – 9/14, all entries that comply with contest rules will be posted for forum members to vote on. The entry with the highest number of votes will win. If there is a tie between 2 or more entries, Windstone Editions will select the winner.
Winner 2 – After winner 1 is selected, all non-winning entries will be entered in a random draw for a second prize.
Prizes have yet to be determined, but will be a Windstone sculpture. I’ll update with more details once I know what they are! 🙂
All winners will be announced on the forum no later than 9/20.

I had a question about the fuzzies. Can you have more than one fuzzy? And can they be fashioned after famous characters, like a theme idea? Or is it just one fuzzy that we made up? Is there a size restriction? Thanks so much for doing this, should be a lot of fun!

I had a question about the fuzzies. Can you have more than one fuzzy? And can they be fashioned after famous characters, like a theme idea? Or is it just one fuzzy that we made up? Is there a size restriction? Thanks so much for doing this, should be a lot of fun!
You can have more than one fuzzy as long as they are of the same type and in the same entry (some fuzzies may travel in groups, that’s fine!)
Famous characters is a bit trickier – if you use a name/logo/something else that’s copyrighted, it might be disqualified. If you want to PM me something more specific, I can help you figure out if it’s okay.
Are you going to send out letter that you got the entry?
I’ll do a batch of confirmations a week before the end of the contest and after the contest ends.
Unfortunately, with a new baby, I don’t have time to do them weekly or daily – he has decided sleeping is optional so I’m kind of a zombie. 🙂
That just fine I though maybe I did it wrong and you didn’t get it. New baby can take all your time, but they are sure worth it.

Yay! I sent mine early this week and will look for a confirmation soon. This was my first quest and so much fun to Craft…er…capture my fuzzy in the wild!
