I figured I might as well join the forum since I browse around here a lot. My daughter, who is Amstaff here on the forum, got me interested in Windstones. Its not to collect them for myself though, I just come here to admire them, and to be able to see what she is always going on about, lol ! She talks about them quite frequently, and is very passionate about them. Her excitement is contagious as I also find myself getting caught up in the thrill of things when she gets new parcels in the mail. I live 3 hrs away from her, but when her Father and I visit I get to admire her new additions, and once I even got to watch her open her Grab Bag foxes, as I happened to be staying at her place when they arrived.
I also like seeing her PYO projects, and I enjoy coming to the forum and seeing other people’s work and collections of Windstones. Maybe someday I will own my own Windstone, but for now Im happy just admiring them. Although I think I will be buying her a few things from here for Christmas, well, letting her buy them and I pay for them, lol ! (I dont shop online so she has to do the ordering)
Ok, so just wanted to make a short introduction here to say hi. I likely wont be posting very often, but I will reading and browsing around.

Amstaff certainly seems to have a knack for the PYOS. Her Muse and Ki-Rin are wonderful. 🙂Have fun looking at everyone’s PYO threads – I admired many of them myself before I finally did my first PYO last October… fair warning, they’re additive!
FYI – there are more than just Windstone figurines available for purchase in the store (*wink wink* gift certificates *wink wink*) 😉

My mom also joined the forum after I got into collecting although she doesn’t post much either but we share a house and she helps me collect Windstones and has ordered a few herself. I don’t think she quite understands the whole thing but I always show her my favourite pieces and ask her which colours and patterns she likes best. She doesn’t really share my affinity for bright crazy coloured things but it’s fun getting her reaction when I show her bright pink and rainbow coloured pieces. Anyway welcome to the forum and enjoy!

So very happy everyone is making my Mom feel welcome ! Im very happy that she joined up, she has always taken an interest in things I become passionate about, and I do know Im lucky in that regard. She is a very supportive Mom…. she is the Bestest ! 😀
